Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration by lacing and threading.
How to use
- Print the cards and cut them out carefully.
- Use a hole punch to make holes where the black dots are.
- Give the child a length of yarn, string or a shoelace.
- Thread the lace in and out of the holes.
- Talk about the animal, shape or fruit as they lace.
Tips
- Laminate the cards for longer use.
- Start with larger holes if needed.
- Tie a knot at the end of the lace so it doesn’t pull through.
- These cards are great for quiet independent play.
